Solution
CFRTP (Continuous Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic composites) ——Is based on thermoplastic resin as matrix and continuous fiber as reinforcement material, a new type of thermoplastic composite material with high strength, high rigidity, high toughness, and recyclable that is formed through resin melt impregnation, extrusion, and other processes.
CFRT unidirectional tape is a single-layered, fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite sheet in which the continuous fibers are unrolled and impregnated with a thermoplastic resin. It is characterized by fibers arranged parallel to each other (0° direction) without interlacing. Product width 300-1500mm, can be customized.
Automotive interior and exterior trims, thermoplastic winding pipes, sports leisure, home building materials, transportation logistics. Transportation logistics: floor & inner liners and roof panels of rail vehicles, interior and exterior automotive trim, sleeper carriages, truck compartments, ship decoration panels, container liners and roof panels.
A CFRTP unidirectional tape prepreg line is a specialized production system for manufacturing continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite tapes. Jwell’s line adopts advanced melt impregnation technology to fully impregnate continuous parallel fibers with thermoplastic resin, producing high-performance unidirectional prepregs with uniform fiber distribution, stable resin content and excellent mechanical properties.
Jwell’s CFRTP unidirectional tape line is compatible with a wide range of thermoplastic resins including PP, PE, PET, PA6, PPS and PEEK. It supports multiple high-strength reinforcement fibers: glass fiber, carbon fiber, aramid fiber and basalt fiber, meeting different performance requirements from general industrial to aerospace applications.
Our line produces CFRTP unidirectional tapes with thickness ranging from 0.1mm to 0.45mm, width from 50mm to 1500mm (customizable), surface density 100-650gsm, and fiber content 40%-70%. The traction speed can be adjusted between 5m/min and 25m/min to balance production efficiency and product quality.
Jwell’s line features a precision melt impregnation system that ensures complete fiber wetting and minimal void content. It is equipped with an intelligent tension control system to maintain consistent fiber alignment, and a closed-loop temperature control system for stable resin processing. The whole line achieves high automation and low material waste.
CFRTP unidirectional tapes are widely used in automotive interior and exterior trims, thermoplastic winding pipes, sports equipment, building materials and transportation logistics. They are ideal for rail vehicle floor liners, truck compartments, ship decoration panels, container liners and lightweight structural components worldwide.
Yes. Jwell provides fully customized solutions based on your target materials, product specifications and production scale. We can adjust line width, speed range, impregnation process, automation level, and add online inspection systems to meet the unique needs of automotive, aerospace and industrial customers globally.
Jwell’s CFRTP line adopts a modular design and advanced servo drive system, achieving stable continuous production at speeds up to 25m/min. The online monitoring system ensures real-time control of resin content, thickness and fiber alignment, guaranteeing batch-to-batch consistency and reducing scrap rate to less than 2%.
The standard lead time is 60-75 working days after order confirmation. We provide end-to-end global services including professional export packaging, sea/air freight arrangement, customs clearance support, and on-site installation & commissioning by certified engineers in over 120 countries and regions.
Jwell offers a 1-year free warranty and lifelong technical support for all CFRTP unidirectional tape lines. We provide detailed operation manuals, 24/7 remote troubleshooting, on-site maintenance training, and global spare parts fast delivery to minimize downtime and ensure long-term stable operation.
Compared with thermoset composites, CFRTP unidirectional tapes offer faster processing, unlimited shelf life, excellent impact resistance and 100% recyclability. They are lighter than metal materials while maintaining high strength and stiffness, making them the preferred choice for lightweight manufacturing in automotive and transportation industries.
